Rosie is a freelance cellist and teacher in Hong Kong. She performs with the City Chamber Orchestra alongside various adhoc groups. She is also a chamber musician, with much quartet experience and she is currently performing in a Piano Trio. She has been coached by the Tackas, Vellinger and Arditti quartets. Trained in the UK, Rosie took her undergraduate degree in Music at Cambridge, gaining an MA in Music before continuing her study of cello at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. Following this year she went on to the Royal Northern College of Music where she gained her teaching qualification (PGCE in Specialist Strings) alongside professional playing.
Rosie has a wealth of experience as an orchestral cellist both as a section player and principal. Please contact Rosie if you'd like her to play with your ensemble/orchestra.
