Laura Seddon, BMus (Hons) DipABRSM

I'm a Cellist, Cello Teacher and Music Theory Teacher from North London. I began learning the cello at the age of 8 and have studied with many renowned cello teachers, including Sue Lowe, Robert Max and Anna Shuttleworth, as well as playing in masterclasses with Alexander Baillie, Louise Hopkins and Pierre Doumenge.

I graduated with a first class degree in music performance from the University of Leeds, during which I spent a year studying in Frankfurt’s Hochschule fur Musik und Darstellende Kunst. I have experience within a wide variety of musical styles, having played for session recordings, as well as performing with contemporary music ensembles and also performing classically. I have played in orchestras throughout life, and currently perform with a number of orchestras and chamber ensembles.
