Additional Info:	I have been teaching the cello since I was at music college and have over 14 years' experience. I teach the following disciplines: Cello beginner to advanced (post-Grade 8) and Music Theory elementary to advanced (college level). I studied music at the Conservatory, University of Stellenbosch (South Africa) where I obtained a Performers Licentiate in Music in 1998. I obtained a B Mus (Hons) from the South African College of Music (University of Cape Town) in June 2000. I have a wealth of professional orchestral and solo performance experience, as well as extensive session work experience. I have played with many of South Africa's professional orchestras and with several UK orchestras including the Royal Concert Philharmonic, the NMSO and the London Philharmonic Youth Orchestra. I have played and recorded with numerous bands including the up-and-coming Luke Pickett and the reggae legend, John Holt. I am an accomplished improviser and offer lessons and "crash courses" in improvisation. I am no longer able to travel to lessons as my "away" lessons are now fully booked. I teach at my home in Halton in a relaxed and pleasant musical environment.
