Melissa has been teaching the piano, cello and chamber music since 2003. She has attended workshops in music pedagogy conducted by Ann Bryant, Music Mind Games by Michiko Yurko and Dalcroze.

Melissa has been awarded a full Teaching Scholarship by the Ministry of Education in Singapore for her BMus (Hons) at the Royal College of Music.

As an educator, Melissa has conducted in-school workshops within the Borough of Kensington and Chelsea in collaboration with RCM Sparks. She has also led Family Chorus and Orchestra workshops for the BBC Proms.
