Richard Hotchkiss is a seasoned professional cellist in Flemington NJ who is available to teach private cello lessons. With over thirty years of experience, Mr. Hotchkiss teaches lessons for all ages and levels of experience with a patient, yet honest, teaching method.
He is on faculty at the New Jersey School of Music and Hunterdon Musical Arts. Previously, he was on the faculty at University of the Arts.
Mr. Hotchkiss is a member of the Capital Philharmonic of New Jersey. and the Hunterdon Symphony. Over the decades of his career, he has toured with Smokey Robinson, Trans-Siberian Orchestra and performed on the Grammy award winning soundtrack, "Standing in the Shadows of Motown", and on Chaka Khan’s version Grammy award winning performance of "What’s Going On", from the same movie.
